PRIMARY Election Day: Tuesday August 11, 2015

REGULAR Election Day: Tuesday November 3, 2015

PUBLIC NOTICE

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that Washington Citys Primary Election to be held on August 11, 2015. The following candidates will compete for three(3) positions of City Council Members, serving four(4) year term:

  • James McFadden
  • C. Bradford Allen
  • Jean Arbuckle
  • Bill Hudson
  • Patricia Robbins
  • Dan Drown
  • Jeff Turek
  • Kolene F. Granger
  • Troy Garth Belliston

For information regarding the Municipal Election contact City Recorders Office located 111 North 100 East, Washington, Utah or at (435) 656-6308. Early Voting will be from July 28th until 5:00 P.M. July 31st.

ID Required to Vote

Utah Election Laws now require every voter to provide valid voter identification before being allowed to vote.

Please show (1) one of the following (with the voter's name and photo).
A currently valid:
  • Utah driver license;
  • Currently valid US military ID card;
  • ID card issued by the state; or a branch, department, or agency of the US;
  • Utah permit to carry a concealed weapon;
  • United States passport;
  • Tribal ID Card; a Bureau of Indian Affairs card; or a tribal treaty card (with or without a photograph).
OR Two (2) of the following that bear the name of the voter and provide evidence that the voter's place of residence is within the voting precinct:
  • Current utility bill, (dated within 90 days);
  • Bank or financial statement;
  • Certified birth certificate;
  • Valid Social Security card;
  • check issued by the state or federal government;
  • Paycheck from the voter's employer;
  • Currently valid Utah hunting or fishing license;
  • Certified naturalization document;
  • Currently valid license issued by an authorized agency of the U.S.;
  • Certified copy of court records showing adoption or name change;
  • Valid Medicaid, Medicare, or Electronic Benefits Transfer Card;
  • Currently valid ID card issued by: local government within Utahan employer; a college, university, technical or professional school located within Utah;
  • Currently valid vehicle registration.
